Terms of Service

These terms describe the rules for using ProposalPilot and the limits of our responsibility.

Last updated May 16, 2026

Use of the service

ProposalPilot helps you organize Upwork searches, generate proposal drafts, submit approved proposals through your own connected browser session, and review proposal analytics. You are responsible for what you submit and whether each submission follows the rules of the platform you use.

Account and extension access

You are responsible for keeping your ProposalPilot account, browser profile, extension token, and Upwork account secure. The Chrome extension uses your existing browser session and should only be installed in a Chrome profile you control.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use ProposalPilot to spam, impersonate, deceive, harass, or submit misleading proposals.
  • Do not attempt to bypass platform rules, rate limits, access restrictions, or enforcement systems.
  • Do not submit proposals on behalf of another person without authorization.
  • Do not use stolen credentials, session data, tokens, or unauthorized account access.
  • Do not use the service for fraud, illegal activity, or activity that creates risk for ProposalPilot or other users.

Platform enforcement

ProposalPilot does not control Upwork or any third-party platform. If your account is limited, suspended, or banned by a platform, that decision is outside our control. You remain responsible for reviewing platform rules and using ProposalPilot conservatively.

Plans, billing, and Paddle

ProposalPilot plan limits are shown in the dashboard and on the public pricing page. When billing is enabled, payments are expected to be processed through Paddle. Paddle may act as reseller and Merchant of Record, and the checkout may include Paddle terms for taxes, invoices, chargebacks, payment processing, and billing support.

Subscription access depends on successful payment and active account status. If a payment fails, access may be limited, paused, or cancelled until the issue is resolved.

Refunds and cancellation

Refund and cancellation rules are described in the Refund Policy. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund prior charges.

No guaranteed results

ProposalPilot can help with workflow, drafting, submission, and analytics, but it does not guarantee job invitations, replies, offers, account safety on third-party platforms, revenue, or client outcomes.
